The Easiest Way To Mix Up Grout

As an avid DIYer, I have tried many, many new gadgets and products over the years that claim to make your life easier. And, it’s not often that I’m blown away by a product’s performance. But when I am, I want to be sure to write a review to tell the world about it. I recently tried a new product that it is the easiest way to mix up grout, and other construction materials that I’ve ever found. Not only that, but clean up is incredibly easy too!

Easiest Way to mix up Grout - The Daily DIY

Game Changer

The Mud ‘n More MixBall is a flexible, non-stick mixing system. It’s a silicone ball that you use to mix up drywall mud, plaster, grout, thinset, morter, paint, epoxy resin, and so much more. What makes it so unique is the ball design. It contains all the materials while you mix and prevents it from splattering. The system includes a silicone spatula that attaches to your drill for easy, fast mixing.

It was amazing how well it mixed grout for me this past weekend for my DIY kitchen tile backsplash project. Since I was doing a small project that didn’t need a lot of grout, this ball was perfect for me to mix up small batches at a time. And, it left absolutely no lumps of grout. It was the smoothest grout I’ve ever mixed.

Clean Up

The best part was the clean up. All I had to do was let the leftover grout dry out inside the silicone ball and it scraped right out. I tapped the ball, upside down, on to my concrete driveway and most of the dried up grout just fell out. A quick rinse with a hose after was all that was needed to completely clean out the ball.

The Mud ‘n More MixBall is now my new favorite for mixing up small batches of product. I’m already thinking of other great uses for it. Like when I need to mix up two different colors of paint for a small project. Or when I need to mix up a bit of drywall mud for a patch job.
